Praying Like Hebrews, Not Like heathens! “By Moreh Qanaa Ben Yehuwdah”

DO YOU KNOW HOW TO PRAY?

Shalom Yisrael,

As our presence on the internet grows we get to see each other’s ways. Some of those ways need to change. My ways, and your ways should always be scrutinized, and we must always rebuke and reprove each other in the ways of YAH.

Wayikra 17:1 (Leviticus)
Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.

Mishlé 6:23 (Proverbs)
For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life.

Mishlé 9:8 (Proverbs)
Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.

With this in mind, I must inform all those who pray with their hands clasped, that this is not the way the children of Yisrael were instructed to pray in the Scriptures.

This is not the way to pray to YAH

The familiar “Praying Hands” is representative of how Christians have prayed to that which is not YAH, for centuries.

There are certain Yisraelites who continue to pray this way, both “Messianic”, and “Non-Messianc”.

The man on the far left closed his hands to YAH

The people in the photo (above) seem to have learned the correct way to pray, with the exception of the man on the extreme left… Let’s see why the rest are spreading their hands…

SPREAD ABROAD YOUR HANDS UNTO YAH!

Sh’mot 9:29 (Exodus)
And Moshé said unto him, As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands unto YHWH; and the thunder shall cease, neither shall there be any more hail; that thou mayest know how that the earth is YHWH’s.

Adown Moshé spread abroad his hands unto YHWH”. This is an extremely pertinent piece of information, given the fact that the children of Yisrael were in captivity. it had been hundreds of years since anyone had physically interacted with YAH and gotten an outright response.

For adown Moshé to openly demonstrate this as one of his ways towards the Most High, made it a permanent aspect of worshiping “toward YAH”.

YISRAEL LEARNED THE FEAR OF YAH FROM ADOWN MOSH´E

D’varim 4:9-12 (Deuteronomy)
[9] Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons’ sons;
[10] Specially the day that thou stoodest before YHWH thy Elohiym in Horeb, when YHWH said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.
[11] And ye came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness.
[12] And YHWH spake unto you out of the midst of the fire: ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice.

Although there is no proof that one had to spread forth their hands in the day of adown Moshé, one would be hard pressed to show where a dissimilar demonstration of prayer (such as clasped handed prayer) would have been associated with YAH, seeing as this was the “visual example” provided by YAH’s servant.

Therefore, in that day, to refrain from spreading ones hands when gesturing towards YAH (the unseen Elohiym) would have been cause to believe that one was interacting with that which is not YAH.

Adown Moshe cautioned Yisrael to: “take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently,

A) LEST THOU FORGET THE THINGS WHICH THINE EYES HAVE SEEN, and
B) LEST THEY DEPART FROM THY HEART all the days of thy life: but
c) TEACH THEM THY SONS, AND THY SONS”.

WHAT DID THE EYES OF OUR FATHERS SEE?

They saw adown Moshé interact with YAH in the only ways permitted by YAH. These “sights” were to be taught to their sons, just as much as the Commandments were t be taught to their sons. This is why Moshé said not to forget these sights, but to TEACH them to our sons.

WHAT THEY DID NOT SEE…

Adown Moshe also cautioned Yisrael that: “…ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice.”

NO MANNER OF SIMILITUDE WHATSOEVER!!!
We spread our hands to an Elohiym that we cannot see. For this cause we do only what our fathers did toward YAH that we do not mistakenly do what the nations do unto their gods!

D’varim 12:30 (Deuteronomy)
Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou inquire not after their Elohiyms, saying, How did these nations serve their Elohiyms? even so will I do likewise.

WE WILL NOT DO LIKEWISE!
We don’t serve YAH like the nations serve their Elohiyms.

D’varime 32:32 (Deuteronomy
For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.

Tehilim 96:1-5 (Psalms)
[1] O sing unto YHWH a new song: sing unto YHWH, all the earth.
[2] Sing unto YHWH, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.
[3] Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.
[4] For YHWH is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all Elohiym.
[5] For all the gods of the nations are idols: but YHWH made the heavens.

The Hindus believe that whenever profound evil spreads widely throughout the earth, the Supreme Being comes to earth in the form of a human person in order to uproot vice and to establish virtue so that the earth may get rid of sinners.”

SO WHAT WILL YOU TEACH YOUR CHILDREN?

An innocent victim of her parents

To paraphrase adown Moshé, it is not just what you tell them that instructs them. Children take knowledge of your actions, inactions, preferences, emotions, everything. They even watch you sleep!

Your children love you, and they depend on you, so don’t let them down.

TEACH YOUR CHILDREN HOW TO PRAY TO YAH AND YAH ALONE!

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O YHWH, my strength, and my redeemer!

1st M’lakhim 8:22-23 (Kings)
[22] And Shĕlomoh stood before the altar of YHWH in the presence of all the congregation of Yisrael, and spread forth his hands toward heaven:
[23] And he said, YHWH Elohiym of Yisrael, there is no Elohiym like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart.

1st M’lakhim 8:38-39 (Kings)
[38] What prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Yisrael, which shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house:
[39] Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men).

1st M’lakhim 8:46-53 (Kings)
[46] If they sin against thee, (for there is no man that sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captives unto the land of the enemy, far or near;
[47] Yet if they shall bethink themselves in the land whither they were carried captives, and repent, and make supplication unto thee in the land of them that carried them captives, saying, We have sinned, and have done perversely, we have committed wickedness;
[48] And so return unto thee with all their heart, and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies, which led them away captive, and pray unto thee toward their land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, the city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy name:
[49] Then hear thou their prayer and their supplication in heaven thy dwelling place, and maintain their cause,
[50] And forgive thy people that have sinned against thee and all their transgressions wherein they have transgressed against thee, and give them compassion before them who carried them captive, that they may have compassion on them:
[51] For they be thy people, and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest forth out of Egypt, from the midst of the furnace of iron:
[52] That thine eyes may be open unto the supplication of thy servant, and unto the supplication of thy peopleYisrael, to hearken unto them in all that they call for unto thee.
[53] For thou didst separate them from among all the people of the earth, to be thine inheritance, as thou spakest by the hand of Moshé thy servant, when thou broughtest our fathers out of Egypt, O YHWH Elohiym.
[54] And it was so, that when Shĕlomoh had made an end of praying all this prayer and supplication unto YHWH, he arose from before the altar of tYHWH, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven.

YAHOWAH BLESS THEE AND KEEP THEE

  1. i have heard the bashing of ben ammi and why he allowed the saints in israel to get into the israel army.well if you are in a ship with other people and the ship is sinking what will you do will you help save the ship if you can or sit for it to sink.i don’t know what inform his decision but sometimes you can move with people get into them in other to know them.ben ammi can not live isolation but one thing for sure those boys in the army are very close to ben ammi than the israeli army.ben is feared by the israelis too he is too slippery for them to touch.he is one of the people who help spread the truth around the world and he has not change anything from the truth he is very consistent.but like all men he needs our prayers and support.we must support him like any other african hebrew leader.
